P.F. Kozak pulls it all
together in this contemporary erotic romance. Pash, short for Passion
Flower, is a beautiful, intelligent, and successful writer, who has
been disappointed in a string of unsuccessful emotional and physical
relationships. She lives at times in her sexual fantasy world with her
ideal "highway man" that fulfills all her sexual fantasies. Ivan is a
successful and handsome college professor who is unfulfilled sexually
and emotionally and acts out his loneliness and emotional frustrations
in numerous dangerous sexual relationships with his female students. He
spends his summers with his close family friend Steve, helping Steve
with his horse stable business. Gwen, Steve's girlfriend and friend of
Pash, sets Pash up with riding lessons at Steve's stables. It is there
that Pash meets Ivan. Immediately when these two lonely, lovely, sexy,
unfulfilled and needy people meet, the sparks fly. Passion is not
merely a contemporary love story with erotic sex scenes. P. F. Kozak,
in a brilliant writing style, shows the reader what lust, sex, passion,
need, want, fantasy, fulfillment, friendship, true love and finding
your true mate really mean. This reviewer must admit I will usually
pick up a contemporary romance and slap it right back down on the shelf
because it seems most contemporary romance novels are a disappointment
with the love interests, mostly the female, analyzing and analyzing the
relationship (with a little bit of sex slipped in to try to make it
interesting) to the point where the reader gets so bored you just stop
reading because you simply cannot believe there can be characters so
stupid and the erotic contemporaries are just sex. P.F. Kozak knows how
to pull together the perfect blend of story and erotica. Passion is an
intelligent, thought provoking, sexy read. I loved this book, mostly
because the reader comes to realize how the loving long term
relationship, that one true love with passion and great sex, can grow
and exist.
